Sleep Disorder

Some of my friends call me a nocturnal human. Do you know what nocturnal means? let's see!

1 active at night The owl is a nocturnal bird.
2 happening at night a nocturnal encounter.


From the definition above we know that nocturnal means active at night, such as owl. So now, if I am called as a nocturnal human, it means that I'm active at night. haha. well, not really. I also do my work, go to school and other activities at bright. But, sometimes it's hard to sleep at night. Many of my friends have the same problem. We active at night because hard to sleep, but then when the day comes the problems come along. Sometimes it's hard to concentrate on what we do, so it's really disturbing because lack of sleep. 



Well, now you know what nocturnal is and one of the bad effects. Let's call it a sleep disorder. 
So, what's sleep disorder? 
Sleep disorder is a conditions that affect how much and how well you sleep. There are many causes and also can be a combination of causes. It could be a medical problems or a withdrawal from a bad habit that can disrupt the sleep cycle. 
What are the symptoms?
Actually, the symptoms are various and it depends on what type of sleep disorder that you have. These are the most common symptoms of sleep disorder:
  • Excessive sleepiness during the day
  • Trouble falling asleep or staying asleep
  • Snoring or episodes of stopped breathing during sleep
  • Urge to move your legs at rest or an uncomfortable feeling in the legs at night
Do you have some of those symptoms? Be aware, Guys! Cause sleep disorder can be dangerous. why?
Because lack of sleep can take away your daily activities. seriously. :B There's a research that has linked sleep deprivation to car accidents, relationship troubles :O, poor job performance, job-related injuries, memory problems :O, and of course mood disorders. Recent studies also suggest sleep disorders may contribute to heart disease, obesity, and diabetes (who loves eating at night.. :p)
